1968-69 MG MGC Starter Lucas no. 25604B - Good Used M418G

This sale is for a used original equipment Lucas
part no. 25604B starter motor
for 1968-69
MG MGC.
It was m
anufactured by Lucas in England
for Austin/
M
G/BMC/British Leyland/Mowog.
The part was removed from a 1969 MGC.
The assembly was inspected and the motor tested with a 12
volt DC power source.  The housing is in good condition
with NO cracks, NO breaks and NO previous repairs.  The
12 volt motor runs smoothly and strong.  The solenoid and
Bendix drive action was correct.
What you see in the photo is ALL that is included in
this sale!
You may notice that one side of the starter is painted black
and the other side is green.  When the starter is assembled
at Lucas, the steel parts are painted black.  When MG/Austin
paints the engine assembly green, they do this after the
starter and other accessories are bolted on.
The applications are:
1968 - 1969  MG MGC Roadster and MGC/GT Coupe
