Who gets tired of hoisting their food bag up in a tree on a long canoe trip? I did, until now. You have the opportunity to purchase these bear barrels and harnesses at a reasonable price! These barrels and harness are amazing to take into the BWCA/Quetico. This 57 liter barrel (same as 60L the outfitters use) we used for 6 people for 5 days and had plenty of room. NOTE: Harness will be shipped inside the barrel.
The Harness is brand new with tags and the barrel is repurposed and great shape - maybe a few scuff marks. The N49 Harness is probably the best on the market. NOTE: The photos show the fishing poles and air mattress on the harness, they are NOT included - just buying the barrel and harness. The barrel has a metal locking band to seal it. We have used these for many years in the BWCA and carry our food for up to 6 people for a week. I also have a slightly smaller 50L barrel that can fit in this harness and it has a plastic clamping ring, that you can have in place of the 57L barrel if specified. Perfect for canoeing, hiking, camping, hunting, hauling bear bait, dehydrated foods. Drum, Food Grade.
