Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS)
is derived from natural coconut oil
An excellent substitute for sodium lauryl sulfate, as it is not only derived from natural raw materials (COSMOS approved), but also better tolerated by the skin and hair. Easily soluble in water at a temperature of at least 40°C. It has good cleaning and foaming properties. The consistency of aqueous solutions is easily controlled by the addition of a small amount of concentrated salt solution.
It can be used to make shampoo bars, shower gels and other foaming bath products.
