Don't bother looking for this Powermaster starter in their catalog, we buy these starters and install our own drive plates on them.  This is a brand NEW MINI GEAR REDUCTION 2HP starter that will work great in a stock or hot rod, lighter weight, more POWER and more room for exhaust and steering. It looks like a smaller version of the Delco so right at home even on a vintage rod. Excellent starter for 65-66 GS Skylarks, can be installed without removing exhaust manifold! It can be used on all 57-66 364-401-425's (has a special dual pattern flange)with stock 64-66 flywheels or my new steel flywheels and special st400 flexplates for the 57 to 63 engines..
will not
work with a Dynaflow trans. (but I do have one that does!) It weighes 10 lbs and your Delco starter weighs 25!
FYI this starter mounts with the solenoid down and comes with a special stud, washer and nut to make it easier to install. If you still point ignition you will need to buy special starter lead available in our Ebay store.
Does not work in 1962-1966 Riviera, Wildcat, Electra, Invicta, LeSabre chassis..  check my other mini starter that does..
