They are suitable for the lighting of houses or also very well for the control panel (e.g. as optical feedback of signal and turnout positions, sidings .....). When connecting to direct current, as with any LED, you must pay attention to the polarization: Minus (-) is the thread and plus (+) is the lower contact.
