    Description

This is an NOS original Ford starter. I found this part in an old Ford dealrship back in the early 80's. This part has been stored indoors in dry storage for almost 40 years. It is in excellent show quality condition. It carries an engineering number of D2AF-11001-CA and is dated 2J1B. These numbers will all make sense to concours correct show people. You won't find a nicer part in better condition. This part of course will fit all 1962/76 Ford & Mercuy models with a small block. However it is 1000 point concours correct for the 1972/73 Mustang, Couger, Torino & Montego models with a 302/351 and 1972/73 Maverick with a 302.
Here is a more specific break down of all the cars this starter will fit. 1962/71 Galaxie, Fairlane, Torino, Comet, Mustang w/289/302/351. Also fits 1972/76 Torino with 302/351. Also 1972/76 Mustang w/302/351. Also 1969/76 E100 Econoline w/302 and 1972/76 Maverick with a 302.
Most of my parts date back to the 60’s 70’s and 80’s. These parts have never been offered for sale before. I will be listing these parts for many months and years to come so please save me to your favorite sellers list. Please note that the parts I sell are mostly NOS [new old stock]. This simply means they are new original Ford. They may or may not be in a box. They will all be in good “never been installed” condition. However they will NOT be perfect. All these parts were mass produced and Ford never intended for them to be perfect in today's standards. If you are building a car to look “Time Period Correct” then NOS is the only way to go. Please Note: If you do not see it in the pictures then it will NOT be included in the sale. Because of the new Ebay rules there will be a 20% restocking fee on all returns and as always there is a no return policy on electrical parts. I try very very hard to represent these parts to the best of my knowledge. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me. Marty
